Principal Message April 15

Hello Covington Community!

What an eventful week it's been at Covington! From witnessing the mesmerizing solar eclipse on Monday to navigating through testing on Tuesday, and enjoying a well-deserved break with no school on Wednesday—our Colts have truly experienced it all. But the excitement doesn't stop there!

Last night, we celebrated a significant milestone as we witnessed the first graduating class of Maestro en Casa, where our Parent Support Specialist worked tirelessly with families eager to learn English. The dedication and determination displayed by our families are truly commendable.

And guess what? The week isn't over yet! Tomorrow, we have our highly anticipated Coltsfest, and we couldn't be more excited! But before we dive into the festivities, I want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all the parents who have generously dedicated their time and effort to support Covington and make this event possible. Whether you've been involved in planning, organizing, or simply attending to enjoy the festivities, your contributions are truly appreciated.

So, mark your calendars and join us tomorrow for Coltsfest! Whether you're here for the delicious food, engaging activities, or simply to socialize with fellow Covington families, we can't wait to see you there.

Let's make tomorrow's Coltsfest a day to remember!

Thank you!

Your proud principal,

Cedric Maddox
