At Covington, all students learn in PreAP Core Classes using AVID college-prep instructional processes incorporating higher level thinking skills in a collaborative environment. Teachers receive periodic specialized training for the PreAP college preparatory instructional model. Scaffolded support occurs through a variety of processes for students with specialized learning needs to access PreAP rigor.
