What a great start to the school year! It was wonderful to see the excitement and energy our students brought into the building during our first week. Whether reconnecting with old friends, meeting new classmates and teachers, or simply figuring out how to navigate a new schedule and routine, our students did an outstanding job adjusting to the start of the year. The first day of school is almost here! On Tuesday, we officially begin a new school year at Covington Middle School. I am excited to welcome our returning students and families, our many new Colts joining us this year, and especially our incoming 6th-grade families making the transition from elementary to middle school. We know this transition brings excitement, anticipation, and maybe a few nerves for students and parents.Calendar of Events
