hope everyone is enjoying this much-needed holiday weekend and taking some time to rest and recharge! As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow. We are quickly approaching the end of the first quarter on Friday, October 17th. Please encourage your child to check their assignments and communicate with their teachers as grades will be finalized in the coming days. Staying proactive helps ensure a strong finish to the quarter!

Last week was another busy and productive one at Covington! I want to extend a sincere thank you to the parents who attended our CAC meeting on Wednesday. During the meeting, we reviewed both the Professional Development Plan and the Campus Improvement Plan.

Even though our Colts did not win the Homecoming game, the spirit of the week was alive and well. Students and parents enjoyed cheering on the team Wednesday and carrying that excitement into Friday afternoon.
